Product Identity

The Acclaim Lighting C2403BK flange base is a cast aluminium component designed for surface-mounting landscape posts. It suits installers and property owners fitting 2.95 inch diameter posts up to 12 feet in height.

Accessory Impact

The flange base converts a standard post into a surface-mounted fixture without requiring ground embedding. Its black finish matches common landscape aesthetics while the cast aluminium construction resists outdoor corrosion.

Installation Check

Confirm the mounting surface can support the post assembly at the intended 12 foot height. Verify the 2.95 inch post diameter matches your existing or planned posts. Note the California Proposition 65 warning regarding chemical content before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the cast-aluminium flange base need any corrosion treatment or repainting over time?

The cast-aluminium flange base resists corrosion naturally, so no scheduled treatment or repainting is required under normal outdoor exposure.

What height limit applies before the 2.95" post becomes unstable on this base?

The flange base is rated for surface-mounting posts up to 12' height; exceeding that can introduce instability.

Does the black finish absorb enough heat to make the base too hot to touch in full sun?

The black cast-aluminium surface will warm in direct sun, but aluminium dissipates heat quickly so it rarely reaches uncomfortable temperatures during all-day operation.
