ClassicCut Ingento Maple Trimmer

The Swingline ClassicCut Ingento is a guillotine-style paper trimmer built on a solid maple base with a die-cast metal cutting arm. It is designed for office, classroom or craft-room use where precise, repeatable cuts are required. The self-sharpening steel blade handles materials from tissue paper up to heavy mat board. Non-slip rubber feet keep the unit steady during operation.

12-Inch Cut Length and 15-Sheet Capacity

This model cuts a maximum length of 12 inches and processes up to 15 sheets of standard paper in a single pass. The alignment grid and dual-scale ruler marked in both SAE and metric units support accurate measuring before each cut. A tension spring holds the cutting arm in any raised position, while a finger guard, protective rail and blade latch hook lock the blade when the trimmer is not in use.

Suited for Light-Volume Precision Work

Users who regularly trim photographs, presentation handouts or craft materials up to the stated sheet limit will find the maple base and steel blade durable and accurate. Buyers needing higher sheet throughput, a longer cut length or a rotary-blade mechanism should consider other trimmer types. The fixed 12-inch bed also limits use with oversized media such as A3 or large-format prints.

Questions about this item

How many sheets does the 15-sheet capacity actually handle in one cut?

The trimmer cuts up to 15 sheets of standard paper at once, and the self-sharpening steel blade also handles tissue through heavy mat board.

What does the 12-inch cut length mean for the alignment grid and ruler?

The 12-inch cut length matches the dual-scale SAE and metric ruler and alignment grid, giving precise measurement across the full cutting width.

What does the solid maple base need for stable mounting on a desk?

The 12 by 12-inch maple base has non-slip rubber feet, so it sits securely on any flat surface without extra hardware.
