Pressboard Classification Folder

The ACCO 15038 is a 25-point recycled pressboard folder designed to organise large document sets. Each unit provides eight filing surfaces created by three internal partitions. Expandable Tyvek gussets allow the folder to grow up to 4 inches thick. Fasteners on every surface keep papers secure and in order.

High-volume filing needs

This folder suits offices, schools or home users who manage bulky project files, client records or archival paperwork. The eight-section layout handles complex categorisation within a single cover. Buyers who only need a simple two-pocket folder or a lightweight report cover will find this product excessive for their purpose.

25-point pressboard construction

The 25-point recycled pressboard cover delivers the rigidity required for heavy, expanding loads. Thinner stock would bow or tear under a 4-inch fill, so this thickness is the decisive factor for long-term durability. If your filing volume stays small, a lighter-weight folder may be more economical.

Questions about this item

Does the 25-point pressboard cover and 1-inch fasteners limit how many sheets each section can hold?

Each of the eight filing surfaces uses a 1-inch fastener, so capacity per section is set by that fastener length rather than the 25-point cover.

What are the exact dimensions of the Tyvek gussets so I can confirm they fit my letter-size drawer?

The folder is built for letter-size paper and expands 4 inches; the color-matched Tyvek gussets run the full height of the cover to match that format.

Do the three partitions come pre-installed or must I insert them before loading documents?

The three partitions are built into the folder, creating eight surfaces ready to use — no separate assembly step is required.
