Clear poly tabs for hanging folders

These clear poly tabs fit standard hanging folders and come in a pack of 25. They let you label each folder so you can spot the right file at a glance. The transparent material keeps the text visible from either side. Office workers and home organisers who need quick visual sorting will find them practical.

Light weight and no power needed

The tabs add negligible weight to a hanging folder and require no electricity or cooling. They sit silently on the rail and do not affect drawer operation. There is no fan, motor or electronic component to generate heat or noise. Normal handling will not bend or crack the poly material.

Replaces hand written labels or paper inserts

If you currently write on the folder edge or slip paper tabs into clear sleeves, these snap on tabs give a cleaner, more durable alternative. The jump is worth it when you re-label often or need a uniform look across many drawers. They are not suited for users who prefer adhesive labels that stick directly to the folder body.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 1/3-cut poly tabs to my hanging folders, and what step do people often miss?

Slide each clear tab into the folder's built-in slot until it clicks; the step many skip is pressing the tab fully down so the locking ridge engages.

Will the clear poly tabs on these Smead 64615 folders yellow or become brittle over time?

The poly material resists yellowing and cracking under normal office lighting; replace individual tabs only if physical damage occurs.

How many tabs can I read at once before the labels blur together in a full drawer?

With 25 tabs per pack spaced at 1/3-cut intervals, visual crowding appears first when more than about fifteen folders sit side-by-side.
