Red pressboard report cover

The ACCO 25979 is a side-binding report cover made from 20 point genuine pressboard with Tyvek-reinforced hinges. It uses a two-piece steel fastener that adjusts to the contents and includes prong clips with holes spaced 8 1/2 inches centre to centre. The cover is produced with recycled material and suits letter-size documents.

Suits filing and presentation needs

This cover works for anyone who needs to preserve important papers in a compact binder that fits tight shelf or drawer space. The adjustable fastener secures pages regardless of thickness. It is not for buyers who want a ring binder mechanism, a clear front window, or a cover made from plastic or leather instead of pressboard.

Holds up to daily office use

The genuine pressboard construction and colour-matched Tyvek hinges resist cracking through repeated opening and closing. Steel prongs keep pages aligned even when the binder is filled to its three-inch capacity. The cover maintains its shape when stored upright or flat over long periods.

Questions about this item

What paper size and hole spacing do I need for the 25979 report cover?

The cover accepts letter-size sheets punched with holes 8 1/2 inches centre-to-centre.

Can I add or remove pages after the steel fastener is closed?

Yes, the two-piece fastener adjusts to the current stack thickness so pages can be inserted or taken out at any time.

How can I confirm the Tyvek-reinforced hinges are holding up after repeated use?

Open and close the cover fully; the hinges should flex without tearing or separating from the pressboard.
