Reduced-Effort Desktop Stapler

The ACCO S7066402A Optima 25 is a manual desktop stapler built for everyday office use. Its mechanism requires only half the force of traditional models, making repetitive stapling tasks easier on the hand. A soft grip on the top surface prevents slipping and adds comfort during extended use. Durable plastic housing protects the internal metal mechanism for lasting performance.

25-Sheet Capacity with Optima Staples

This stapler handles from two sheets up to a maximum of 25 sheets of 20-lb bond paper in a single press. It accepts a full strip of 210 Optima Premium staples with a leg size of .25 inch and crown size of .5 inch. Compatible replacement staple cartridges include models 35108, 35450, and 35556. A low-staple indicator on the magazine side shows when a refill is needed.

Top-Loading Design with 2.25-Inch Throat

Staples load from the top for quick reloading without removing the unit from the desk. The 2.25-inch throat depth allows stapling further from the paper edge than compact models. Tacking function is supported for posting notices to bulletin boards. The quiet, flat-clinch-free operation suits shared workspaces where noise is a concern.

Questions about this item

What does the 25-sheet capacity mean when I am actually stapling?

It means the stapler can drive a staple cleanly through up to 25 sheets of 20-lb bond paper in one press.

What staple standard does the Optima 25 use and what does that limit?

It uses Optima Premium staples with a 0.25" leg and 0.5" crown, so only those dimensions will feed and clinch correctly.

How much desk depth does the stapler need for the throat?

The throat depth is 2.25", so allow at least that much clearance from the paper edge to the back of the stapler.
