Detects counterfeit banknotes using infrared, magnetic and UV sensors with automatic loading and audible or visual alerts
The AccuBANKER D500 is a digital counterfeit detector designed for retail counters and small offices. It accepts banknotes automatically and checks each one with infrared, magnetic and UV sensors. Audible and visual alerts flag suspect notes immediately. The unit reduces counterfeit losses for businesses handling moderate cash volumes.
The D500 processes one note at a time and adds each verified bill to a running total. It handles everyday transaction speeds but is not built for continuous high-volume counting. Infrared, magnetic and UV checks cover common security features; sophisticated forgeries that replicate all three may pass undetected. The automatic feeder stops if a note is skewed or torn.
The detector measures 5.71 by 5.91 by 2.75 inches and fits on any flat surface near a till. An included AC/DC adapter accepts 110 to 240 V AC input, so no dedicated circuit or external transformer is required. The blue-grey plastic housing is lightweight enough to move between shifts. No software installation or network connection is needed.

The unit runs on an included AC/DC adapter that accepts 110 to 240 V AC, so it plugs into any standard mains socket alongside other equipment.
When a banknote passes through, the D500 gives both an audible tone and a visual alert if any sensor flags a suspect note, confirming the detection chain is working.
The supplier description states the AC/DC adapter is included, so no separate power supply purchase is required.
