Acer Aspire Go 15 Silver laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Home laptop finished in Silver. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. The system includes 24GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVME SSD. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Best for office work and home study

This configuration suits buyers who want a large screen for documents, web browsing and video calls. The 1TB drive holds a full local library of files. The 24GB RAM keeps many browser tabs and Office apps open together. Buyers who need a backlit keyboard for dark rooms should look elsewhere. Gamers or creators needing discrete graphics performance should look elsewhere.

24GB DDR4 memory and 1TB NVME SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the combined 24GB DDR4 memory and 1TB NVME SSD. This capacity pairing handles heavy multitasking and large project folders without external drives. If your workflow needs more memory or faster storage technology, this laptop will not match the requirement.

Questions about this item

Will my existing DDR4 SO-DIMM modules work if I want to expand the 24GB memory later?

The laptop uses DDR4 memory, so compatible DDR4 SO-DIMM modules can be added if a free slot is available.

Can I connect this laptop to my older 1080p monitor using the HDMI port?

Yes, the HDMI output supports 1920 x 1080 resolution, so it will drive a Full HD monitor at its native resolution.

How can I verify the Ryzen 7 7730U is reaching its 4.5 GHz boost clock under load?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a monitoring tool such as HWMonitor and watch the CPU frequency while running a demanding task.
