Ready for games and work

The Acer Nitro V 15 ships with an Intel Core i5-13420H eight-core processor, 32 GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. A GeForce RTX 4050 with 6 GB GDDR6 drives the 15.6 inch FHD 165 Hz IPS panel. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Check power and ports first

Verify that your existing charger can supply Power Delivery over the single USB-C Thunderbolt 4 connection if you plan to charge through that port. The laptop also offers three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI 2.1 output, an RJ-45 jack and a headset combo. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 handle wireless links.

Upgraded storage and memory ship installed

The supplier opens the factory seal to install the 32 GB DDR5 kit and 512 GB PCIe drive before shipping. That work is covered by a one-year warranty on the upgraded parts while the original manufacturer warranty remains on the rest of the unit.

Questions about this item

Does the Acer Nitro V 15 ship with everything needed to start gaming, or must I buy a charger or operating system separately?

The laptop includes a 15.6 inch FHD 165Hz display, Intel Core i5-13420H processor, GeForce RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6 graphics, 32GB DDR5 4800 memory, 512GB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, backlit keyboard and webcam. No extra purchases are required for basic operation.

The spec sheet lists a single 32GB DDR5 4800 configuration; how do I know if this capacity suits my workload?

32GB DDR5 4800 provides ample headroom for modern games at 1080p, streaming, and multitasking with several browser tabs and background apps. The memory is soldered, so the capacity cannot be increased later.

What does the 165Hz screen rating mean once the RTX 4050 6 GB is driving actual games?

The 165Hz panel can refresh up to 165 times per second. In competitive titles the RTX 4050 6 GB can push frame rates near that ceiling; in heavier AAA games expect lower but still smooth frame rates on the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel.
