Acer Nitro V 15 gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5 13420H eight-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card with 8GB GDDR7 video memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 system memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. A 165Hz Full HD display and Windows 11 Home complete the core package.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers who want a portable 15.6 inch machine for 1080p gaming at high refresh rates will find the 165Hz panel and RTX 5050 combination well matched. The eight-core CPU handles multitasking and modern titles without bottlenecking the GPU. Users needing a larger screen, a higher resolution panel, or more than 512GB of factory storage should consider other models.

The specification that decides fit

The single deciding specification is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It sets the performance ceiling for every game and creative workload on this chassis. If that graphics tier meets your target frame rates at 1920 x 1080, the supporting hardware — eight-core CPU, 32GB DDR5, 512GB PCIe SSD, 165Hz display — will keep pace.
