Acer Aspire 16" Copilot+ Laptop

The Acer Aspire 16" WUXGA touchscreen laptop runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor with 8 cores and 12MB L2 cache. Integrated Intel Arc Graphics 140V handles visuals while 32GB of DDR5 8000 memory and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD provide capacity. A 16.0 inch IPS panel delivers 1920 x 1200 resolution at 120 Hz with 100% sRGB and 350 nits brightness.

Limits of the Intel Arc 140V and Wi-Fi 7

The integrated Intel Arc Graphics 140V shares system memory, so heavy 3D workloads compete with the 32GB DDR5 pool for bandwidth. Wi-Fi 7 operates on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands with 2x2 MIMO, but real-world throughput depends on router support for MLO and 4K QAM. The single HDMI 2.1 output drives one external display at up to 4K 120 Hz, limiting multi-monitor setups without a dock.

Installation notes and common issues

Memory and storage are soldered or integrated, so no user upgrades are possible after purchase. Windows 11 Pro activates automatically on first boot; a local account can be created by skipping the network step during OOBE. Some early units ship with a 12 Hz panel typo in documentation — the hardware runs at 120 Hz. Bluetooth 5.4 pairs normally, but older peripherals may need a driver update from Intel’s support site.
