Acer Aspire Go 15 laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6-inch Full HD notebook powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 20GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVME SSD. The silver chassis includes a 720p webcam, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

Upgrade path from entry models

This configuration replaces basic laptops limited to 8GB RAM and smaller drives, giving headroom for multitasking and larger project files. The jump is worth it when daily work involves several browser tabs, office suites and light creative apps running together. Buyers who need dedicated graphics or more storage should look elsewhere.

Straightforward setup

The laptop arrives ready to use with the upgraded memory and storage already installed and tested. No internal assembly is required; simply connect the 45W power supply and sign in. The non-backlit keyboard and single USB Type-C 3.2 port may limit low-light typing and high-speed peripheral options.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions and weight so I can choose a sleeve or backpack?

The laptop measures 14.15 in wide, 9.25 in deep and 0.90 in thick, and weighs 3.5 lb.

How do I perform a clean Windows 11 Pro install, and which driver do people forget?

Boot from a Windows 11 Pro USB, delete all partitions on the 256 GB NVME SSD, then install; the AMD chipset driver is the one most often missed.

Is the 20 GB DDR4 memory upgradeable later?

No — the 20 GB DDR4 is soldered and cannot be increased, but the 256 GB NVME SSD slot accepts a larger drive.
