15.6 inch FHD 165Hz gaming laptop

This Acer Nitro V 15 combines an Intel Core i5-13420H 8-core processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 8GB GDDR6 GPU. The 15.6 inch IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. A 512GB PCIe SSD and Windows 11 Home complete the package. It targets gamers who want high frame rates on a mid-range mobile platform.

Thunderbolt and USB 3.2 connectivity limits

The laptop provides one Thunderbolt port, three USB-A 3.2 ports, one HDMI output and one RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet jack. Thunderbolt supports high-speed peripherals and external displays but total bandwidth is shared with other traffic. USB 3.2 ports deliver up to 10 Gbps per port. Wireless uses WiFi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.4 for cable-free links.

8GB GDDR6 video memory decides fit

The RTX 5050 ships with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, which sets the ceiling for texture resolution and frame-buffer size in modern titles. If your workload demands more video memory, this configuration will become the bottleneck before the CPU or system RAM. For 1080p gaming at high settings the 8GB buffer is usually sufficient.
