16 inch 180Hz WQXGA gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16S is a 16 inch gaming laptop with a WQXGA display running at 180Hz. It pairs an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU carrying 12GB GDDR7 video memory. The system includes 16GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits gamers and creators who want a high-refresh 16 inch panel and strong GPU performance in a 4.8 pound chassis. The 180Hz screen and 12GB GDDR7 graphics handle modern titles at 2560 x 1600. Buyers needing a touchscreen, a larger form factor, or a higher core count CPU should consider other models.

Deciding specification RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB GDDR7 video memory. This GPU tier targets high frame rates at the native 2560 x 1600 resolution. If your workload needs more video memory or a different GPU tier, this is not the right part.
