16-inch OLED 240 Hz gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI ships with a 16.0-inch OLED panel at 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate covering 100% DCI-P3. An Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX 24-core processor and GeForce RTX 5060 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 drive modern titles. Windows 11 Pro and 16GB DDR5 5600MHz memory complete the platform.

Power and port checklist

Verify that your workspace can supply the 230 W lithium-ion adapter and that you have cables for the single Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 via USB-C video outputs. Three USB-A 3.2 and two USB-C 3.2 ports handle peripherals while RJ45, Wi-Fi 6E and a micro-SD slot cover networking and media.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

The 24-core CPU hits a 5.4 GHz max turbo but will settle lower during extended sessions as the chassis manages heat within its 0.79-inch profile. G-SYNC keeps frame pacing smooth on the 240 Hz OLED without panel-level flicker. Fan noise rises under continuous combined CPU and GPU load typical of long gaming or render workloads.
