Precision Guillotine Trimmer for Office

The Acme United ACM16874 Westcott Guillotine Trimmer provides a 15 inch cut length and handles up to 30 sheets of 20 lb paper in a single pass. A CarboTitanium bonded stainless steel blade stays sharp through heavy use on paper, fabric, boxes and plastic packages. An alignment grid with US and metric markings supports accurate measuring. A safety guard and blade latch hook protect fingers during operation and transport.

Suited for High Volume Paper and Mixed Media Cutting

This trimmer fits users who need a long cut length and high sheet capacity for reports, photos, packaging or craft projects. The wood base and non-slip ergonomic handle add stability for repetitive tasks. Buyers who require a longer cut than 15 inches or a higher sheet capacity should consider a larger floor model. Those needing only occasional light trimming may prefer a smaller rotary cutter.

15 Inch Cut Length and 30 Sheet Capacity

The 15 inch cutting length and 30 sheet capacity of 20 lb paper are the key specifications that determine whether this trimmer matches the workload. The CarboTitanium bonded blade is rated eight times harder than untreated steel for extended edge life. Overall dimensions are 3.5 inches high by 13.3 inches wide by 23.5 inches deep.

Questions about this item

Does the 15" CarboTitanium blade generate any noise or heat when cutting 30 sheets of 20 lb paper all day?

The trimmer is a manual guillotine with no motor, so it produces no heat and only the sound of the blade slicing through paper.

What must I already have on my desk for the 13.3"W x 23.5"D wood base to sit securely?

A flat, stable surface at least 13.3 inches wide by 23.5 inches deep will support the trimmer; no power outlet or mounting hardware is required.

Will the alignment grid marked in both US and metric let me trim prints from my older A4 printer accurately?

Yes, the on-board grid shows both inch and centimetre scales, so you can align A4 or letter sheets using the same reference marks.
