Purpose-Built Safety Hook

The Acorn 1830 is a ligature-resistant clothes hook designed for indoor maintenance in environments where self-harm prevention is a priority. Its auto-release mechanism activates at a 40 lb load limit to protect vulnerable individuals. The unit mounts flush to the wall with front-access hardware for a secure installation. It serves facilities requiring vandal-resistant fixtures that maintain a standard appearance.

Straightforward Wall Installation

Mounting hardware is included so the hook can be fastened directly to the wall using front-access screws. The rectangular stainless steel base sits flat against the surface with minimal projection. Installers should verify the wall substrate can hold the supplied fixings securely. The single-hook layout simplifies alignment compared to multi-hook panels.

Verify Load Needs and Mounting Surface

Confirm that the 40 lb release point matches the safety protocol for the intended location. Ensure the wall material accepts the provided anchors without pulling out under stress. The satin stainless steel finish resists corrosion in humid areas but requires a clean, flat mounting plane. This model provides one hook only; plan additional units if more hanging points are needed.
