Vandal-Resistant Male Spray Nozzle

The Acorn 2998-016-000 is a male nozzle assembly designed for Acorn stainless-steel wash fountains. It serves facility managers maintaining public or commercial hand-washing stations. The vandal-resistant construction helps withstand heavy use and tampering in high-traffic environments.

Neoperl Interface and Compatibility Limits

This nozzle uses a Neoperl interface and fits Acorn Wash-Ware series wash fountains. It cross-references Grainger part 19C810 and manufacturer model 2998-212-001 20. Installations outside the specified Acorn series or with incompatible thread patterns will not seal correctly.

11/16 in Height by 1 in Diameter Form Factor

The physical envelope measures 11/16 in H x 1 in Dia, which dictates whether the nozzle seats properly in the fountain head. A mismatch in these dimensions prevents secure mounting and consistent spray performance. Verify the existing opening matches before ordering.

Questions about this item

Which Acorn wash fountain series is this male nozzle built for?

It fits Acorn stainless steel wash fountains and matches manufacturer model 2998-212-001 20 as a direct replacement.

What does the 11/16 inch height by 1 inch diameter mean when the nozzle is installed?

The compact profile sits flush on the fountain deck, delivering a focused spray pattern while resisting tampering in high-traffic areas.

How does the male thread interface limit what fountains it can serve?

The male connection threads only into compatible Acorn wash fountain bodies, so it cannot be adapted to female-threaded or non-Acorn fixtures.
