Waterdrop DA29-00020B 3 Pack Refrigerator Water Filtration

Replacement Filter for Samsung Fridges

This three-pack supplies carbon-block cartridges rated to 0.5 micron for Samsung refrigerators using part numbers DA29-00020B, DA29-00020A and HAF-CIN/EXP. Each filter handles up to 137 litres at a flow rate of 1.9 lpm and is certified to NSF standards for contaminant reduction. The pack suits households that want a ready supply of replacements without reordering every six months.

Sustained Load Filtration Behaviour

The carbon block maintains its 0.5 micron rating across the full 137 litre capacity while operating between 0.6 °C and 38 °C and pressures from 140 kPa to 689 kPa. Flow remains steady at 1.9 lpm without the pressure drop that can occur when finer media load with sediment. Beneficial minerals such as fluoride are not removed during the filter's service life.

Installation and Common Issues

Cartridges use an (F)NPT connection that twists into the refrigerator housing without tools; the maker notes the change takes only moments. The most frequent problem is forgetting the six-month replacement interval, which lets taste and odour return. Over-tightening can stress the plastic housing, and using the filter beyond 137 litres reduces contaminant removal.
