Home audio 2.1 Bluetooth system

The Acoustic Audio Goldwood AA2170 is a 2.1-channel speaker set with a powered subwoofer and two passive satellites. It streams audio from a phone over its built-in Bluetooth 2.1 receiver and includes a full-function remote. The system suits living-room TV, laptop, DVD player or gaming console setups.

Connectivity limited to analogue and optical inputs

Sources must provide a 3.5 mm headphone jack, RCA stereo or optical digital output; there is no HDMI, USB audio or Wi-Fi path. The subwoofer requires a standard US 110 V grounded wall outlet. Satellite cables are fixed at 15 foot single RCA leads, restricting placement distance from the subwoofer.

350-watt integrated amplifier drives the whole

This single power figure determines whether the set can fill your room at the volume you want. The ported subwoofer enclosure measures 12.25 by 6.75 by 12.5 inches and the satellites 6.75 by 4.125 by 3.75 inches each, so check available shelf space before buying.
