Outdoor 5 MP Bullet Camera

The ACTi Y32 is a fixed-focal bullet camera built for outdoor surveillance. It captures 5 MP video over TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS through a single BNC connector. Power over Ethernet simplifies cabling, while a DC 12 V option is also available. Extreme WDR of 130 dB and IR illumination to 30 m handle high-contrast and low-light scenes.

Suits single-cable installs, not IP recorders

Installers who want one cable for power and video via PoE will find this camera convenient. It fits analog DVR systems that accept TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS signals. Buyers needing direct network streaming or onboard analytics should consider a different product class.

Analog BNC output decides compatibility

The camera delivers video only through its 1 x BNC port using TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS formats. Your recorder must support one of these analog standards at the listed frame rates and resolutions. Without a matching DVR input the camera cannot be used.

Questions about this item

Will the Y32 connect to my existing analog DVR that only accepts BNC inputs?

Yes. The camera provides a single BNC connector that outputs TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS signals, so it plugs directly into a legacy analog DVR without extra converters.

How can I verify the 130 dB extreme WDR is active after installation?

Point the camera at a high-contrast scene such as a sunlit doorway; the live view should show balanced detail in both the bright exterior and the darker interior without blown highlights or crushed shadows.

Does the box include a 12 V DC power adapter or must I buy one separately?

The camera ships without a power adapter; you must supply a 12 V DC source with a 2.1 × 5.5 mm plug, or use Power over Ethernet if your network switch supports it.
