What this game delivers

This new Xbox One title bundles the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and its sequel into a single package rebuilt in HD. Every pro skater, level and trick from both classics returns fully remastered, giving players the complete arcade skateboarding experience on one disc.

Who should pick it up and who should not

Fans of the original PlayStation-era games and newcomers wanting pure arcade skating will find the full trick lists, maps and soundtracks intact. Players looking for a realistic simulation, an open-world career mode or online competitive ladders will not find those features here.

Installation and common issues

Insert the disc and follow the on-screen prompts to install; the game then launches like any standard Xbox One title. The most frequent hiccup is a required day-one patch that must download before all modes become playable.
