Ready-to-use humidity sensor breakout

The Adafruit HTU21D-F is a new I2C digital humidity and temperature sensor on a fully assembled breakout board. It suits makers, students and engineers who need reliable environmental data for weather stations, data loggers or HVAC monitoring. Some basic soldering is required to attach headers or wires before use.

Filtered sensing element for cleaner readings

The board includes the filtered version of the HTU21D-F chip, where a PTFE membrane protects the sensing element from dust and liquids while allowing vapour to pass. This keeps accuracy stable over time in workshops, greenhouses or outdoor enclosures where unfiltered sensors would degrade.

On-board regulation and level shifting included

A 3.3 V regulator and I2C level-shifting circuitry let the breakout connect directly to 5 V or 3.3 V microcontrollers without extra components. The board arrives fully tested so you can start logging temperature from -30 to 90 °C and humidity from 5 % to 95 % RH as soon as headers are soldered.
