24-Core Threadripper PRO Workstation

The Adamant Custom tower pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX processor with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 graphics card holding 48GB of VRAM. Storage combines 6TB of NVMe SSD capacity across two Samsung 990 PRO drives with a 10TB SATA hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is installed for immediate deployment in professional compute, simulation and rendering pipelines.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while a Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 80+ Titanium supply delivers 1600W of continuous power. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard supports the processor up to 5.3GHz boost clocks across 48 threads. Dual LAN ports and extensive USB 3.2 and USB4 connectivity maintain data throughput during long compute sessions without thermal throttling.

Thermals Noise and Power

The Corsair 5000D FRAME chassis uses front and rear 120mm fans alongside the liquid cooler's 360mm radiator and the PSU's 140mm fan. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protections are built into the power supply. Realtek ALC4080 audio codec provides rear-panel output. The system draws from a 1600W Titanium-rated unit for efficient, stable delivery under full load.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360mm AIO liquid cooler and 140mm PSU fan when the 24-core Threadripper runs at 5.3 GHz all day?

The 360mm Quiet Edition AIO and Seasonic PRIME TX-1600's 140mm fan are both designed for low noise; the 80+ Titanium PSU runs efficiently to limit waste heat.

Does the Corsair 5000D case include the front-panel USB 3.1 Type-C and audio jacks I need for headsets and external drives?

Yes, the case front panel provides 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C and combined audio in/out, while the rear adds 2 x USB4 Type-C and multiple USB 3.2 ports.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives and PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs work with the TRX50 AERO D motherboard's 8 SATA and 4 M.2 slots?

The board offers 8 x SATA 6Gb/s and 4 x M.2 connectors supporting PCIe 4.0 x4, so current SATA drives and NVMe SSDs install directly.
