Questions about this item

Will this Threadripper 9960X workstation power on without adding any extra components?

Yes, the system ships fully assembled with a 24-core Threadripper 9960X CPU, 128GB DDR5 ECC memory, 4TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO SSD, 10TB SATA HDD, RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB GPU, 1600W Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 PSU and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed.

Can I keep my existing SATA III hard drives and USB 3.0 peripherals when upgrading to this tower?

The motherboard provides four SATA 6Gb/s ports compatible with your current drives, plus rear USB 3.1 Type-C, six USB 10Gbps and two USB 2.0 ports, mid-board USB Type-C, USB 20Gbps connector, USB 5Gbps header and two USB 2.0 headers for legacy devices.

How do I confirm the 4TB NVMe SSD is delivering its rated 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds after setup?

Run a sequential benchmark such as CrystalDiskMark on the Samsung 990 PRO; results near 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write indicate the PCIe 4.0 x4 link is operating correctly.
