Liquid-cooled 64-core workstation

This new Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It targets professionals running heavy multi-threaded simulations, rendering or AI workloads that demand high core counts and GPU acceleration. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Pre-built with custom 360mm loop

The unit arrives fully assembled inside a Corsair 5000D Frame case with a 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler already mounted on the sTR5 socket. No cooler installation or thermal-paste application is required. Builders should verify that the 520 mm depth clears their desk or rack space before ordering.

Sustained 5.4 GHz boost under load

The 1200W 80 Plus Gold power supply feeds the CPU up to its 5.4 GHz max boost across all 128 threads while the 360mm radiator and 140mm fan keep temperatures stable. Dual Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for continuous dataset streaming without thermal throttling.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 64-core Threadripper 9980X is running at its 5.4 GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager or HWMonitor and watch the CPU frequency column while a heavy render loads; the 128 threads should hit 5.4 GHz on the 256 MB L3 cache.

What storage drives are included and which bays remain free for extra drives?

The build ships with a 2 TB NVMe 990 PRO, a 4 TB NVMe 990 PRO and a 10 TB SATA HDD; the Corsair 5000D case still has two empty 3.5″ bays and four 2.5″ bays.

Which GPU fits the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and the 360 mm liquid cooler clearance?

The installed RTX 5080 16 GB is already validated for the Thermaltake 1200 W unit and the Corsair 5000D frame with the 360 mm AIO.
