Threadripper 9980X 64-Core Workstation

This new tower workstation is built around a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 360 mm liquid cooler. It targets professionals who need sustained multi-threaded throughput for rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory.

Suits heavy compute, not light tasks

The 128-thread CPU and dual LAN ports serve studios running parallel workloads or virtualised environments that can saturate all cores. Buyers who only need single-thread speed, a smaller memory footprint or a quieter air-cooled chassis should look at something else. The 1200 W power supply and liquid loop also demand adequate rack or floor space.

10 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives combine for 10 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA HDD adds high-capacity bulk storage for archives or media libraries. The RTX PRO 4500 with 32 GB VRAM accelerates GPU compute and visualisation without relying on system memory.
