64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This desktop workstation pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory for heavy compute workloads. It targets engineers, researchers and content creators who need sustained multi-threaded performance in a single tower.

360mm Liquid Cooling and 1600W Titanium PSU

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 80+ Titanium supply delivers 1600W with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. The Corsair 7000D Airflow case moves air through front 140mm and rear 140mm fans for low-noise operation.

Dual 4TB NVMe Drives and 96GB RTX PRO GPU

Two Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVMe SSDs provide up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes alongside a 10TB SATA HDD for bulk storage. The Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB GPU adds AI-ready acceleration for rendering and simulation tasks.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid CPU cooler on the Threadripper PRO 9985WX, and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator with its three 140mm fans in the Corsair 7000D front panel, then attach the cold plate to the sTR5 socket using the supplied bracket; the step often missed is tightening the four mounting screws in a diagonal pattern to ensure even pressure across all 64 cores.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1600W Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 PSU need later?

The PSU uses a 140mm fan and Japanese main capacitors rated for long life; under normal loads the fan is the only part that may eventually require cleaning or replacement, while the capacitors are solid-state and non-serviceable.

What thermal limit appears first when the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB runs sustained AI workloads?

The GPU hits its power-temperature ceiling before the 1600W Titanium PSU reaches its Over Power Protection threshold, so the card throttles clock speeds to stay within its thermal envelope.
