Built for heavy compute

This workstation pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card. It targets professionals running simulation, rendering or AI workloads that demand high core counts and GPU acceleration in a single tower. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Liquid cooling and dense I/O

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU inside a Corsair 5000D frame with tempered glass panels. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard supplies two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1, dual LAN and eight SATA connectors internally. A 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU with a 140mm fan powers the build.

10TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives (2TB, 4TB, 4TB) combine for 10TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage rated at 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. A 10TB SATA hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives or scratch files.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the M.2 NVMe SSD interface use, and what are the maximum sequential read and write speeds?

The three Samsung 990 PRO SSDs run on PCIe 4.0 x4, each delivering up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes.

What are the case dimensions and which motherboard form factor does it support?

The Corsair 5000D Frame measures 520 mm deep, 245 mm wide and 520 mm high and houses the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard.

How is the CPU cooler mounted and what clearance step is often missed?

The 360 mm AIO radiator mounts to the case roof; the step people miss is fitting the supplied TRX50 back-plate before seating the cold plate on the Threadripper 9960X.
