32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or multi-threaded compute workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and offers 10TB of NVMe storage plus a 10TB hard drive.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal output during extended all-core runs, while the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply delivers stable power through protection circuits for over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit events. The Corsair 5000D Frame case uses front and rear 120mm fans alongside a 140mm PSU fan to maintain airflow without excessive noise.

Storage and Connectivity Limits

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives provide 10TB of NVMe capacity over PCIe 4.0 x4 links, each rated for up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. The 10TB hard drive connects via SATA 6Gb/s with a 256MB cache. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard adds two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and dual LAN ports for peripheral and network expansion.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan when the 32-core Threadripper runs all day?

The CPU uses a 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler and the 1200 W PSU has a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, so sustained loads stay subdued.

What must I already own to start working with this Windows 11 Pro tower?

Only a display and input devices are required; the system ships with OS, 64 GB DDR5 ECC, 10 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD, and RTX 5070 12 GB installed.

Can I keep my older SATA SSDs or 3.5-inch drives alongside the three 990 PRO NVMe drives?

Yes, the motherboard provides eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case has two 3.5-inch bays plus four 2.5-inch bays for legacy drives.
