24-Core Threadripper Workstation

The Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X running at 4.2 GHz with 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. It targets professionals who need sustained multi-threaded throughput for rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system is labelled AI Ready.

Liquid-Cooled Tower Build

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while the Corsair 5000D Frame case adds front and rear 120 mm fans plus a 140 mm PSU fan. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1, two LAN ports and eight SATA 6 Gb/s connectors. Four M.2 slots and six internal drive bays allow further expansion.

Three NVMe Drives Plus 10 TB HDD

Storage combines a 2 TB and two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs rated at 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write with a 10 TB SATA hard drive offering 256 MB cache. The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply delivers overhead for the Nvidia RTX A400 4 GB GPU. Buyers who need more than 10 TB of fast NVMe capacity or a higher-end professional graphics card should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD use, and what read speed does that cap at?

The three Samsung 990 PRO drives run on PCIe 4.0x4, limiting sequential reads to 7450 MB/sec and writes to 6900 MB/sec.

What case dimensions and drive bays must the chassis accommodate for this build?

The Corsair 5000D FRAME measures 520 x 245 x 520 mm and provides two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch internal bays for the 10TB HDD and SSDs.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and which step do builders often miss?

The 360 mm AIO radiator fits in the front of the case with three 120 mm fans; the step often missed is orienting the pump inlet and outlet so the tubes do not kink against the tempered-glass panel.
