24-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X running at 4.2 GHz with 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 1600 W Seasonic Prime Titanium power supply. It targets engineers, researchers and studios that need certified professional graphics and error-correcting RAM for simulation, rendering or large-model AI workloads.

Storage capacity and headroom

A 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s reads for active project files, while a 10 TB SATA hard drive with 256 MB cache stores archives and datasets. The four M.2 slots and six internal drive bays on the TRX50 AERO D motherboard allow further expansion when the two supplied volumes fill.

Build quality and daily connectivity

A Corsair 5000D Frame tempered-glass tower houses a 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler and a 140 mm Seasonic fan for low-noise operation. The rear I/O provides two USB4 Type-C ports, eight USB 3.2 ports, 10 GbE Marvell AQtion LAN and 7.1-channel audio via Realtek ALC4080 and ALC897 codecs.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-core Threadripper 9960X and TRX50 motherboard work with my existing DDR5 ECC modules and PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives?

The board accepts DDR5 ECC memory and provides four M.2 connectors wired for PCIe 4.0, so your current DDR5 ECC sticks and NVMe SSDs will install and run at their rated speeds.

How can I verify the liquid cooler and RTX PRO 6000 are operating correctly after first boot?

Check that the 360 mm AIO pump and fans spin quietly, then confirm the GPU appears in Device Manager as RTX PRO 6000 with 96 GB VRAM and that Windows 11 Pro reports 64 GB DDR5 ECC memory.

Which items ship inside the Corsair 5000D case and what must I purchase separately?

The system arrives fully assembled with CPU, 64 GB DDR5 ECC, 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe, 10 TB SATA HDD, RTX PRO 6000 96 GB, 1600 W Seasonic PSU, 360 mm liquid cooler, Windows 11 Pro and all cables; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse need to be added.
