Built for 24-core Threadripper workloads

This workstation pairs an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X with 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 360 mm liquid cooler. The 24-core, 48-thread processor reaches 5.3 GHz boost clocks and includes 128 MB L3 cache. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a platform designed for sustained multi-threaded compute.

Three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives plus 10 TB HDD

The boot drive is a 2 TB NVMe SSD rated for 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. Two additional 4 TB NVMe SSDs provide identical peak throughput for scratch or project volumes. A 10 TB SATA hard drive with 256 MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives and backups.

RTX 5070 12 GB for GPU-accelerated pipelines

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 contributes 12 GB of video memory for rendering, simulation and AI-assisted tasks. Dual LAN ports and extensive USB connectivity including USB4 Type-C support peripheral expansion. The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply delivers stable power to all components.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need refilling or pump replacement later?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit with no user-serviceable parts, so no refilling is required; pump failure is rare and would mean replacing the whole cooler.

What component hits its limit first when all 24 cores run at 5.3 GHz for hours?

The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and the 360 mm AIO define the sustained ceiling; CPU package power and coolant temperature plateau before any single core throttles.

How loud and hot does the Corsair 5000D get with the 140 mm PSU fan and 360 mm radiator fans running all day?

The PSU uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan and the AIO is a Quiet Edition model; together they keep noise low while exhausting heat through the front 120 mm intake and rear 120 mm exhaust.
