Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This new tower workstation ships with a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X running at 4.2 GHz and 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. It targets professionals who need high multi-thread throughput for rendering, simulation or data-science workloads. The system arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed and a 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply.

Three NVMe Drives Plus High-Capacity HDD

The boot volume uses a 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO, while two 4 TB 990 PRO units add 8 TB of fast NVMe storage for active projects. A 10 TB SATA hard drive with 256 MB cache provides bulk capacity for archives. All three SSDs deliver sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s.

Single-GPU RTX 5060 8 GB Configuration

An Nvidia RTX 5060 with 8 GB of video memory handles display output and GPU-accelerated tasks. The motherboard provides two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports at the rear, plus dual LAN. Buyers who need multiple GPUs or more than 64 GB of memory should consider a different configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need refilling or pump replacement later?

The 360 mm AIO is a sealed unit; no refilling is required and the pump is rated for continuous operation.

What limits sustained performance first — CPU thermals or the 1200 W PSU?

The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the 24-core Threadripper within its thermal envelope, so the 1200 W Gold PSU headroom becomes the practical ceiling.

How loud and hot does the system get when the RTX 5060 and Threadripper run all day?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition cooler and 140 mm PSU fan keep noise low; exhaust air stays warm but case temperatures remain controlled.
