32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop pairs a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X with 256GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 5090 32GB GPU. It targets professionals running large-scale simulations, rendering pipelines or AI workloads that demand high core counts, error-correcting RAM and substantial graphics memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit pre-installed.

TRX50 Platform Requirements

Verify that your workflow benefits from the sTR5 platform and its 128MB L3 cache before ordering. The motherboard provides 10GbE LAN, USB4 Type-C ports and four M.2 slots, two of which are occupied by the included 4TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO drives. Ensure your peripherals and network infrastructure can utilise the available USB 3.2 Gen 2 and 10GbE connectivity.

Liquid Cooling and 1600W Power

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while a Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 80+ Titanium unit supplies power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. The Corsair 5000D FRAME case includes front and rear 120mm fans alongside the PSU's 140mm fan for airflow. Under normal workloads the cooling solution maintains low noise levels while supporting sustained boost frequencies up to 5.4 GHz.

Questions about this item

Does the system ship with a keyboard and mouse, or must they be purchased separately?

No keyboard, mouse, or external cables are mentioned, so they would need to be sourced separately.

Should I choose the Threadripper 9970X or a different CPU for this workstation?

The build is configured around the 32-core Threadripper 9970X with a 360 mm liquid cooler. The motherboard uses the sTR5 socket, which only accepts Threadripper 9000-series processors, so the 9970X is the intended and supported choice.

What does the 8 TB NVMe figure mean for real-world project load times?

The 8 TB consists of two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives rated at up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write over PCIe 4.0 x4. Large datasets and scratch files will therefore open at near-peak sequential speeds.
