32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24GB graphics card. It targets engineers, researchers and creative professionals who need sustained multi-threaded compute and certified driver stability for simulation, rendering and AI workloads.

Upgrade from limited core counts

Moving from a mainstream desktop with fewer cores and non-ECC memory removes bottlenecks in parallel compilation, large dataset analysis and GPU-accelerated rendering. The jump is worth it when single-thread speed is no longer the constraint and workloads scale across 64 threads with 128MB of L3 cache.

Check power and rack space

Verify that your facility can supply a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit on a dedicated circuit and that the 520mm depth fits your rack or bench. Confirm the motherboard's USB4 Type-C and SATA 6Gb/s ports match your peripheral and storage expansion plans before ordering.

Questions about this item

What motherboard form factor and CPU socket does the 360 mm liquid cooler need to clear in this tower?

The cooler mounts on the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard using the sTR5 socket, so the 360 mm radiator must fit the Corsair 5000D Frame case interior.

How is the 360 mm AIO cooler installed, and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the case fan brackets, attach the pump block to the Threadripper 9970X with the supplied sTR5 hardware, then connect the pump header and fan cables to the motherboard — forgetting the pump power cable is the common error.

Which storage drives will need replacement first under heavy write workloads?

The 2 TB and 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs have a finite write endurance; the 10 TB SATA HDD lasts longer for bulk storage but will eventually need replacement.
