Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This 32-core workstation ships with an AMD Threadripper 9970X processor and 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained loads. It is built for professionals who need high multi-thread throughput in a desktop form factor. The system arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed.

Motherboard Connectivity and Expansion

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D board provides two USB4 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and four USB 2.0 headers. Eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and four M.2 connectors are available internally. Two rear LAN ports handle wired networking. Verify that your peripherals and storage devices match these interfaces before ordering.

Storage, Graphics and Power Layout

A 2TB NVMe drive and a 4TB NVMe drive deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads, while a 10TB SATA hard drive adds bulk capacity. The Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 with 32GB memory occupies a full-length slot. A 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply feeds all components. The Corsair 5000D Frame case supports additional 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives if more local storage is required.

Questions about this item

Does the Corsair 5000D Frame case include all fans and front-panel ports, or must I buy any separately?

The case ships with a front 120 mm fan and a rear 120 mm fan plus front-panel USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio jacks; no extra parts are required.

Should I choose the 2 TB or 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO as the primary NVMe drive for the operating system?

Both drives are Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 x4 with identical 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds; the 4 TB model simply adds capacity.

What does the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell 32 GB GPU deliver in a real workstation workload?

The 32 GB frame buffer lets you hold large AI models, 8K timelines and complex CAD scenes entirely in GPU memory without swapping to system RAM.
