64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This tower workstation pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with an Nvidia RTX 5090 32GB GPU. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory, a 4TB NVMe boot drive and a 10TB SATA hard drive. The system targets professionals running large-scale simulations, rendering or AI workloads.

WRX90E motherboard and 1600W PSU

The Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard uses the sTR5 socket and provides dual LAN ports, multiple USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 connections plus four M.2 slots. A Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 80+ Titanium unit supplies power. Verify that your rack or bench space accommodates a full-tower chassis measuring 600 by 248 by 550 millimetres.

360mm liquid cooling and quiet fans

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while the Corsair 7000D Airflow case moves air through two front 140mm fans and one rear 140mm fan. The PSU uses its own 140mm low-noise fan. Together they keep thermals and acoustic output controlled during sustained multi-core and GPU compute tasks.

Questions about this item

What is included with the Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW tower and do I need to buy a CPU cooler separately?

The tower ships with front 140mm fans, rear 140mm fan, a 360mm Quiet Edition liquid CPU cooler, and the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 1600W 80+ Titanium PSU. No separate cooler purchase is required.

Should I choose the 64GB DDR5 ECC memory or add more for the 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX?

The board supports eight-channel DDR5 ECC. The installed 64GB fills two channels; adding matching modules in the remaining six channels will maximise memory bandwidth for 128-thread workloads.

What does the Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVMe 7450 MB/s read figure mean once the workstation is running Windows 11 Pro?

That sequential read ceiling is reached on large-file transfers; OS boot, application load and scratch-disk performance will be noticeably faster than SATA SSDs but limited by queue depth and thermal throttling under sustained writes.
