32-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop is built around a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9970X processor running at 4.0 GHz with up to 5.4 GHz boost. It targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or multi-threaded compute workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply in a black tower chassis.

256GB DDR5 ECC and Dual Storage

The platform provides 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory, giving ample headroom for large datasets and virtual machines. A 2TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6900 MB/s for active projects. A 10TB SATA hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity for archives and backups.

RTX 2000 Blackwell 16GB GPU Limits

The Nvidia RTX 2000 Blackwell card supplies 16GB of video memory for professional visualisation and AI-ready tasks. It supports VR workflows and multi-display outputs through the GPU and motherboard rear I/O. Workloads requiring more than 16GB of VRAM or higher compute throughput will exceed this card's practical ceiling.

Questions about this item

Will the 1200 W PSU and 360 mm liquid cooler handle the Threadripper 9970X if I add my existing PCIe cards and drives?

The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold unit and 360 mm AIO are sized for the 32-core CPU and RTX 2000 Blackwell; the case provides 2 x 3.5" and 4 x 2.5" bays plus front and rear 120 mm fans for extra airflow.

How do I verify the 256 GB DDR5 ECC and Samsung 990 PRO 2 TB NVMe are running at rated speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager Performance tab to confirm 256 GB DDR5 detected, then run CrystalDiskMark — sequential read should approach 7450 MB/s and write 6900 MB/s for the 990 PRO.

Which cables and accessories ship with the Corsair 5000D Frame build and what must I source separately?

The system includes PSU cables, motherboard I/O shield, case fans, front-panel USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio leads, plus Windows 11 Pro licence; you supply monitor, keyboard, mouse and any additional SATA or M.2 drives.
