64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This desktop workstation centres on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X processor with 64 cores and 128 threads, liquid cooled by a 360mm AIO. It ships with 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. The platform targets professionals who need sustained multi-threaded throughput for rendering, simulation or large dataset analysis.

Triple NVMe plus 10TB HDD storage

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 10TB of combined NVMe capacity across PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes, with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk archival space. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides four M.2 slots and eight SATA ports for future expansion.

Suited to memory-heavy AI and content pipelines

The 256GB ECC memory and RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24GB GPU suit AI-ready workloads and professional visualisation. Buyers who need more than 256GB system memory or multiple GPU slots should look elsewhere. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU and Corsair 5000D Frame case define the power and physical envelope.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need its coolant topped up or the pump replaced after a few years?

The sealed 360 mm AIO is maintenance-free for its rated life; no user-serviceable coolant refill or pump swap is expected.

What thermal limit appears first when all 64 cores run at 5.4 GHz under sustained load?

The CPU will hit its package power ceiling before the liquid loop saturates, triggering automatic frequency scaling to stay within thermal design limits.

How loud does the 140 mm PSU fan and case airflow get during an all-day render?

The Thermaltake 1200 W Gold unit runs its 140 mm fan in ultra-quiet mode, and the Corsair 5000D front and rear 120 mm fans keep system noise at a low office-friendly level.
