Adamant Custom Threadripper 9980X Workstation

This Adamant Custom workstation is built around a 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 5.4 GHz maximum boost. It ships with 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, an 8 TB NVMe SSD array, a 10 TB hard drive, and an Nvidia RTX 4000 Blackwell GPU with 24 GB VRAM. The system is liquid cooled and powered by a 1200 W supply.

Suited for heavy parallel workloads.

The 64 cores and 128 threads target professional rendering, simulation, and AI development where ECC memory and large VRAM matter. Buyers who need more storage bays than the case provides should look elsewhere. Teams requiring a smaller footprint or lower power draw will find the tower form factor and 1200 W supply excessive.

Bundled storage and cooling enable sustained

Two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for fast project loading. The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the 9980X stable under continuous load. The 10 TB SATA drive adds bulk capacity. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Questions about this item

What motherboard and power supply must the case already support for this system to fit and run?

The tower uses a GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, so the chassis must accept an sTR5 board and deliver 1200W.

Can I keep my existing SATA hard drives and USB 2.0 peripherals with the 10TB HDD and motherboard headers?

The board provides eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and four USB 2.0 headers, so legacy drives and peripherals connect directly.

How do I verify the 64-core CPU and 24GB GPU are recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager to confirm 128 logical processors at up to 5.4 GHz and check Device Manager for the RTX 4000 Blackwell with 24GB VRAM.
