Adamant Custom Threadripper 9980X 64-Core Workstation 64GB 8TB NVMe 10TB HDD RTX 5090 32GB

Built for 64-Core Parallel Workloads

This workstation pairs a 64-core Threadripper 9980X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an RTX 5090 32GB GPU. The configuration targets professionals who need high core counts for simulation, rendering or AI training while keeping a single GPU for visualisation. Buyers who need more than 64GB of system memory or multiple GPUs for large-scale inference should look at expandable rack platforms instead.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler and a 1600W 80+ Titanium power supply keep the 64-core CPU and high-end GPU stable during long renders or compute jobs. Two 4TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active project files, while a 10TB SATA HDD provides bulk storage. The Corsair 7000D Airflow case moves air through front and rear 140mm fans to maintain thermal headroom over extended sessions.

Installation and Common Issues

The system arrives assembled with Windows 11 Pro installed, so initial setup is limited to peripheral connections and driver updates. The WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard offers four M.2 slots and four SATA ports for future storage expansion, but the 64GB DDR5 ECC kit occupies half the memory channels, so adding capacity later requires matching modules. The 1600W PSU leaves headroom for a second GPU, yet the case length and power-cable routing must be verified before any upgrade.
