64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This new tower workstation pairs an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X 64-core processor with 64 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 24 GB graphics card. A 360 mm liquid cooler and 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply support sustained heavy workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on fast NVMe storage.

Buyers needing maximum core density and ECC memory

The 64 cores and 128 threads suit render farms, simulation clusters and large-model AI training where smaller core counts bottleneck. The dual LAN ports and extensive USB connectivity fit studio pipelines. Teams requiring more than 64 GB of memory or multiple GPU slots should look elsewhere.

64 cores and 128 threads decide fit

The CPU delivers 64 cores and 128 threads with up to 5.4 GHz boost and 256 MB L3 cache. This core count is the single specification that determines whether the system matches the parallel workload.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The tower ships with the Threadripper 9980X, 64GB DDR5 ECC, three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 10TB, a 10TB SATA HDD, RTX PRO 4000 24GB, 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, 360mm AIO cooler, Windows 11 Pro and a Corsair 5000D FRAME case. No monitor, keyboard or mouse are included.

Which storage version should I choose for the operating system and active projects?

Use the 2TB Samsung 990 PRO as the boot and scratch drive; its 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write keep the 64-core CPU fed. The two 4TB 990 PRO units and the 10TB SATA HDD serve as bulk project and archive storage.

What does the 64-core 3.2 GHz figure mean once the workstation is under load?

All 64 cores / 128 threads run at 3.2 GHz base with a 5.4 GHz max boost, backed by 256 MB L3 cache and liquid cooling so sustained multi-threaded workloads such as rendering or simulation hold high frequencies without thermal throttling.
