Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid CPU cooler on the sTR5 socket Threadripper 9965WX, and what step is often missed?

Mount the cooler on the motherboard back-plate first, then tighten the four spring screws in a cross pattern until they bottom out; the step people skip is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it.

What maintenance will the 256 GB DDR5 ECC memory and the 10 TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO drives need later?

The ECC memory requires no user maintenance; the NVMe drives benefit from a firmware check once a year via Samsung Magician, and the 10 TB SATA HDD should have its SMART data reviewed annually.

Which limit appears first during sustained all-core loads on the 24-core 4.2 GHz Threadripper 9965WX with the 360 mm AIO?

The CPU package power limit of the 9965WX is reached before the 360 mm liquid cooler saturates, so clock speeds throttle to stay within the processor's thermal design envelope.
