Threadripper PRO 9965WX Workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop workstation ships with a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX processor running at 4.2 GHz with a boost up to 5.3 GHz and 128 MB L3 cache. It includes 512 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, a 2 TB NVMe boot drive, two 4 TB NVMe drives, and a 10 TB SATA hard drive. An NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 graphics card with 32 GB memory handles visual compute workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Ideal for AI development

The 24 cores and 48 threads suit professionals running large simulations, rendering pipelines, or local AI model training where ECC memory stability matters. The triple NVMe array plus high-capacity hard drive supports projects that demand both speed and bulk storage. Buyers who need more than 24 cores or multiple GPU slots should look at dual-socket or rackmount platforms instead.

Check power, cooling clearance and motherboard I/O

The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply and 360 mm AIO cooler require a case that can mount a 360 mm radiator and deliver adequate airflow. Verify that your display connectors match the RTX PRO 4500 outputs and that the rear USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports meet your peripheral needs. The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides eight SATA ports and four M.2 slots, three of which are already populated.
