Threadripper PRO 64-Core Workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop workstation is built around a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 5.4 GHz maximum boost. It pairs the CPU with 256 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 graphics card equipped with 32 GB of video memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes a 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply.

Suited for multi-threaded simulation

The 64 cores and 128 threads handle heavy rendering, scientific calculation and large-model training where memory capacity and ECC integrity matter. The triple NVMe array provides 10 TB of fast solid-state storage alongside a 10 TB SATA hard drive for bulk data. Builders who need more than two LAN ports or a different GPU architecture should look at alternative configurations.

Sustained load behaviour with 360 mm liquid cooling

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler keeps the 64-core processor at stable frequencies during extended compiles or batch runs. The Thermaltake 1200 W Gold unit with Japanese capacitors delivers consistent power without voltage droop. Case airflow uses front and rear 120 mm fans plus a 140 mm PSU fan to move heat away from the motherboard and storage during long sessions.

Questions about this item

What power supply do I need for the RTX PRO 4500 32GB card?

The workstation already includes a Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU with Japanese main capacitors and a 140mm quiet fan, so no extra power supply is required.

Will the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard still let me use my older SATA III hard drives?

Yes. The board provides eight SATA 6Gb/s connectors and the case has two 3.5-inch bays, so existing SATA III drives connect directly.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Threadripper PRO 9985WX within safe temperatures?

Monitor CPU temperature in Windows Task Manager or BIOS while under load; the 360mm AIO quiet edition cooler is sized for the 64-core processor's thermal output.
