64-Core Threadripper PRO Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 16GB graphics card. It targets engineers, researchers and content creators who need sustained multi-threaded compute and professional GPU acceleration in a single system.

Check TRX50 motherboard clearance and power delivery

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D board uses the sTR5 socket and requires a 360 mm AIO mounting area plus a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold supply with Japanese capacitors. Verify your rack or desk space accommodates the 520 mm deep chassis and that the dual LAN ports meet your networking topology.

All-metal frame with tempered glass and front I/O

The Corsair 5000D FRAME case supplies front USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio jacks alongside two 120 mm fans for airflow. Three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads, while a 10TB SATA HDD adds bulk storage; the PSU fan runs at 140 mm for low noise under load.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The workstation ships fully assembled with the Threadripper PRO 9985WX, 64 GB DDR5 ECC, three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs totalling 10 TB, a 10 TB SATA HDD, RTX PRO 2000 16 GB graphics, 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, 360 mm liquid CPU cooler, Windows 11 Pro and a Corsair 5000D case. Only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed to start.

Which storage configuration should I choose for this build?

This unit already includes a 2 TB NVMe boot drive plus two 4 TB NVMe drives for active projects, plus a 10 TB SATA HDD for bulk storage. No further capacity choice is required unless you add drives to the four spare 2.5" or two 3.5" bays.

What does the 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX deliver in this system?

The 64-core, 128-thread CPU runs at 3.2 GHz base up to 5.4 GHz boost with 256 MB L3 cache, cooled by a 360 mm quiet liquid loop on the TRX50 AERO motherboard, enabling sustained multi-threaded compute for rendering, simulation and AI workloads.
