Workstation for 64-core workloads

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9985WX with 128GB DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB GPU. The platform targets professionals running large-scale simulation, rendering or AI training tasks that demand high core counts and large video memory. Windows 11 Pro is installed.

Quiet 360mm liquid cooling and 1600W Titanium PSU

A 360mm Quiet Edition AIO handles CPU thermals while a Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 80+ Titanium unit supplies power with a 140mm low-noise fan. The Corsair 5000D FRAME case adds front and rear 120mm fans for chassis airflow. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protections are built into the power supply.

Sustained throughput from dual NVMe and 10TB HDD

Two Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver up to 7450 MB/sec reads and 6900 MB/sec writes across 6TB of PCIe 4.0x4 storage. A 10TB SATA 6Gb/s HDD with 256MB cache provides bulk capacity for active project files. The CPU boosts to 5.4 GHz with 256MB L3 cache to maintain compute density during long runs.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler in the Corsair 5000D case, and what step is often missed?

Install the radiator at the top with fans pushing air out, then connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN socket on the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard so the BIOS can control speed.

Which component will need replacement first under heavy workloads?

The 1600 W Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 PSU uses Japanese capacitors rated for long life, but the 140 mm fan is the only moving part likely to wear out before the rest of the platform.

What thermal limit appears first when all 64 cores sustain 3.2 GHz?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO can dissipate the Threadripper PRO 9985WX heat, yet the 520 mm tall case restricts radiator thickness, so coolant temperature becomes the limiting factor.
