64-core Threadripper workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 16GB Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or AI workloads.

PCIe 4.0 storage and dual LAN limits

The two Samsung 990 PRO SSDs operate over PCIe 4.0 x4, delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. A 10TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk capacity at SATA 6Gb/s speeds. Two onboard LAN ports provide wired connectivity without additional cards.

360 mm liquid cooling and Corsair 5000D frame

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the 256MB L3 cache CPU inside a Corsair 5000D tempered-glass chassis measuring 520 x 245 x 520 mm. Front and rear 120 mm fans assist airflow while the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU uses a 140 mm fan and Japanese main capacitors. Internal bays include two 3.5 inch and four 2.5 inch slots for future expansion.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2 TB or 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO for my active projects?

The workstation includes both a 2 TB and a 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO, so you have 6 TB of NVMe storage without choosing one over the other.

What does the Threadripper 9980X 3.2 GHz base clock mean for sustained render workloads?

The 64-core processor can boost up to 5.4 GHz with 256 MB L3 cache, and the 360 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures stable during long multi-threaded jobs.

How fast can the PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots actually move data in this build?

Each Samsung 990 PRO is rated for up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, which is the practical ceiling of the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface.
