Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This workstation ships new with a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX processor and 64GB DDR5 ECC memory. It targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or large-model AI workloads. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU quiet under sustained load.

Installation Notes

The Corsair 5000D FRAME case arrives assembled with the motherboard, power supply and drives installed. You only need to connect power, display and peripherals. The 1600W Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 unit is large; verify your mains circuit can supply the rated draw before powering on.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Confirm your software licences support Windows 11 Pro and the Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96GB GPU. The motherboard provides four M.2 slots and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports; plan additional storage around those limits. Ensure desk space accommodates the 520mm depth and 520mm height of the tower.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Threadripper PRO 9965WX is running at its 4.2 GHz base and 5.3 GHz boost after setup?

Check the CPU clock speeds in Windows Task Manager or a hardware monitoring tool while under load; the 24-core, 48-thread processor should show 4.2 GHz base and up to 5.3 GHz boost with the 360 mm liquid cooler keeping thermals in check.

What storage drives and memory come pre-installed, and which expansion slots remain free for adding more?

The system ships with a 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO, a 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO, and a 10 TB SATA HDD plus 64 GB DDR5 ECC RAM; the TRX50 AERO D board still has two open M.2 slots and four free 2.5-inch bays for extra NVMe or SATA drives.

Which GPU configuration matches the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell 96 GB listed in the title?

The workstation includes a single Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell with 96 GB VRAM; no other GPU option is fitted, so the 96 GB model is the only choice for this build.
